 The trip organized by Lion and Rose was amazing. We knew we’d be playing some of the great golf courses in the world, including Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham, and Royal Liverpool. What I didn’t realize was how many other things went into making the trip so enjoyable. We stayed at the Dormie house at Lytham beside the first tee, and had dinner in the clubhouse overlooking the famed 18th green. We had our own rooms in a great hotel in Liverpool and a driver who took us everywhere, including an unanticipated stop to an unusually friendly pub. The golf and the accommodations were fantastic. I can’t wait to do it again.
